Conflict minerals

Dodd-Frank-Act, Section 1502 (conflict minerals)

Since July 2010 the Dodd-Frank Act (Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act) is legally binding.
Under the new SEC regulation, companies subject to SEC reporting requirement are required to report on conflict minerals contained in their products, with the first reporting deadline being May 1st, 2014 for calendar year 2013.

German companies can be concerned if they are supplying electronic goods into the U.S. which contain such minerals like tantalum, tin, gold or wolframite.

As distributor of electronic components, NOVA Elektronik GmbH is aware of the political sensitivity and we take care about the retraceability and transparence in the supply chain of the obtained materials.

Our manufacturers have reassured, that they review their sources and send us their declarations which our customers can demand for.

Even if we cannot guarantee, we assure as distributor that according our present knowledge no conflict minerals are used in the products of our represented manufacturers.
